Which BMW bike is best for UK Travel?

Please share your reviews about BMW bikes. I am going to UK for Visit on Bike. [:)]

A bit more information would be useful. Do you ride with pillion or alone? How much luggage do you need to carry, do you go camping or B&B/hotels?

And.... do you hold a motorcycle licence that is valid in the uk?.
What size/type of bike are you familiar with?
Check that you can get insurance to cover you while riding a bike in the UK.

As it stands, we don't know if you've ever ridden a motorcycle, if you are a computer bot or if you plan to travel on a trail or pavement.

A quick look at motorbike hire in the uk looks expensive.
Charges of at least £150 a day, deposits of over £2000, minimum age of 25 or more and various other T&Cs I haven't read.
