    I couldn't find an iso of the CD anywhere on the internet and I know a number of people ask for burned copies. Anyway here it is:

    For those who don't want to burn a copy I use Virtual Clone Drive Download Here

    After install just right click on the .iso file and click mount. It should pop up as a virtual disk drive, just like a CD without the CD.

    I have a Macbook Pro so maybe it will not work... anybody had it work on a mac?

    You are asking is the 2013 TE 449 engine the same? Not the manual CD?

    The answer is No, the BMW, Husky engines are different in terms of part numbers from BMW and Husky. They have different gear box ratios, BMWs all have a 5 spd. which is a wide ratio. Husky's TC 449 is a 5 spd. but its a close ratio and all the TXC and TE's from Husky have a 6 spd. overdrive gear ratio in their gear boxes. with the 6 spds having gears that are physically 20% narrower. Camshaft profiles are different on the TXCs, TEs compared to the TC Husky, TXCs,TE's cams are also different than the BMWs but very similar.

    The TC has a 13 to 1 compression ratio, all the others including the BMW have 12 to 1 compression ratio.

    Husky's all have a Hydraulic clutch actuation on the clutch cover, not a cable like the BMW. Both steel and fiber clutch plates are thinner on the Husky: (steels .065 - fibers .105) BMW: ( steels .080 - fibers .120) and the clutch basket is not as deep by about .140 on the Husky to compensate and therefore lighter overall in weight. Which results in less rotating flywheel weight.

    Later model Husky's and pretty much all boxed replacement crankshafts have a wider flywheel woodruff key slot, so a later flywheel is required if you change the crankshaft and is available only if you purchase the entire stator assembly. Just to get the compatible flywheel. Unless you find an old "original equipment' new stock BMW unit off the shelf somewhere that was never installed.

    Other than that most of the other parts are pretty much interchangeable but those are the basic mechanical or internal differences.

    However the rest of the engine pictures and so on the CD are about the same as a Husky manual for reference. Just some of the parts groupings.

    Parts from BMW come in combined kits of their own selection groups and Husky does theirs in similar but different groups combined with other parts.

    Like for example, in order to get some certain small parts, you can't just buy a simple small seal at the respective dealers with out buying a full kit to replace all the other seals, gaskets, bearings, and other related non re-usable or service parts to get to that particular seal.

    They each have their own way of doing things.
