I have a SKF dealer here and I know what bearings fit the swingarm, I also know that ktm 85 wheel bearings fit front and rear bmw wheel hubs but I have lost the head stem bearing codes, I know I have seen them here somewhere.
My apologies for being a inconvenience.

Try this link, not sure on cross reference but SKF dealer should be able to sort it. These seal rings are a good mod.

    Another link.

Dom has a link on here also but the bloody puter won't allow me to open it, thinks Dom is trying to corrupt me or something .... it might be onto something

    Joe,

The "SKF" bearing code is Part #30206 for head stem bearings. Size is 30mm ID x 62mm OD x19.5mm thickness.

The Stock BMW bearings are marked Part # 3S206.The are manufactured by "Fag" on my bike.

"AllBalls" racing has a kit for the BMW G450X under part # 22-1068 for $37.78 US dollars it comes with seals But they list their bearings as being 30mm x 62mm x 21mm thick which should still work even if it is a bit taller.

Its easy to make a new lower seal disc washer out of a thin disc of Aluminum cut to just drop into the shoulder of the lower outer race but a tiny bit smaller and with a hole in it to match the stem diameter at the lower bearing register then run an oring like they use on the top under the dust cap. The factory stock lower dust seals suck and easily allow shit to get into the lower bearing during rides and washes. I haven't seen the type seal sold by AllBalls racing in their kits but the stock seal will likely be destroyed during lower bearing removal.

Definately do the bottom bearing seal mod with the washer and o-ring if you can.

I have merged these 3 posts for us to add to. Pay no attention to the fact that bello650 appears as the author to the left. He was the last one I selected to add his information to this list so for some unknown reason it appears it was his doing. So please ignore that. This is a group effort here. So lets keep adding to it. I will continue to merge it all together, until it is as complete as we can get it.

At that time I will make a new "Closed Sticky" out of all of this information.

I don't suppose anyone wants to help list all the Aftermarket bearings for the G450x for quick reference?
I've been reading threads here there and everywhere so it would be good to have them all in on post.
I'm looking at doing the Swingarm, Head Stem and Both wheels soon and need to know what to order.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want to put up false information, i'll update this post as I find them.
Also feel free to add any seals/spacers etc. that should also be changed.
This is for my own benefit as much as anyone elses so it needs to be correct.

    G'day Pascal,
They are great links, hopefully Tim can make Doowrags post a sticky when he finishes getting all bearing/seal info together on the one post.

Definitely make finding what you are after easier.

You guys can post up the additional bearing numbers and I can add them to the current merged post with the bearing list above. Then I'll make it a "sticky" thread.
I know how to do it but for now I will merge them all together and edit out some of the in between stuff before I make it a "Sticky" that way you guys can keep adding to this list.

Otherwise I will have to keep adding the info to the closed "Sticky" myself.

So lets get all of the bearings listed as we can.

on the topic of bearing does anyone have any tips for getting the rear wheel bearings out. I cant get the end caps out.
the parts diagram shows a hex nut on one side but that isn't the case on my bike.
I assume they just pull out but would like to confirm before I get too violent.
    cheers

    Look here for info :

    http://g450riders.org/forum/showthre...=Rear+bearings
i remember , you have too remove the lock ring "7" and pull out this bearing, then pull out the two bearings at the other side.
the spacers " 10" (end caps) are in aluminiun, there is oxidation between the alu parts and the wheels, is not possible too extract them without damaging. I used a vise-grip ( big violence and WD40 oil)

A word of caution on using of the 'shelf' bearings for critical components such as main bearings etc, whilst they may be a generic size and made by Fag, SKF, NSK etc the load rating is unknown. Unless you have the load rating and really know your way around a bearing catalogue, I would advise sticking with genuine replacements. Hence I did not include these bearings when I recently had my engine apart.

According the specifications here, the dynamic and static load for 30203 are almost the same for SKF and FAG (schaeffler) respective 19 kN, 18.6 kN for SKF and 19.2 kN, 18.7 kN for FAG. Only the fatigue limit load radial are not specified for SKF.

HI Guy, ive only got 22km on my bike since I bought it a month ago, while riding last night I felt a wobble and immediately pulled the clutch in a coasted to stop. the back left bearing has totally disintegrated on me. as I have no BMW dealer anywhere near me. are those "all ball's" reference numbers ok for the rear bearings? it says theres 3 in my CD manual??
    thanks.

Yes, they should be the proper Numbers. The wheel bearings are also the same as a 2003-2012 KTM 85cc 2 stroke. The rear wheel uses 3 of them as there is 2 of them paired on the sprocket side.

Just to add to the dilemma, Ive now removed the races from both sides of the hub. there is damage to both sides of hub (snap ring grove is gone etc). both spacers (item #10 on drawing) are damaged. the only thing ive managed to save is the center spacer and the shaft.
Should I look at a whole replacement assembly or what would anyone recommend?
    Thanks so much.

From the looks of things I'd say the hub is probably toasted.
There is a low mile complete rear wheel assembly with tire on E-bay. First page under "BMW G450X"- Motorcycle parts, category. Listed at $349.00 ?

Thanks Tim, I ordered that rear wheel assembly on ebay you recommended and im back in business ( that rear wheel wasn't cheap lol).
Ive noticed that 2 out of 4 of my dust covers are shit.
there is a number on the inside of them 7 711 768 , does anyone know if there are replacements existing or do I have to order the wheel spacers to get these?
    Thanks.

The seals should be easy enough to get. You have the numbers.
