Had to empty the radiator when changing a broken temperature switch sensor. The temperature switch broke in two pieces when I fell and somehow it got hit by something

Anyway had a set of extra Speedbrain silicone performance radiator hoses on the shelf so I though why not put them on at the same time. The OEM hoses seemed a little soft so why not.

Any thoughts, are these performance hoses better? Much stronger and durable than the original ones?

Anyone had problems with the original or aftermarket radiator hoses?

At least the original hoses got squashed a little when the water pump had high revs, even though this really doesn't matter, the water is circulating anyways but maybe the water pump works better with these new hoses, I don't know...?

Forgot to take pictures after the installation but will add some pics later.

I have the reply from the owner of LS design. The delivered the hoses for Speedbrain team several years ago:
Here my order from LS-Design, notice the title without logo from DT1 air filter instead of the previous picture in my post #2

Ok, same product then. Any specific reason for the change to these new hoses, looks/performance/old ones gone bad?

In my case the two clips down the radiator doesn't stay in place, I replaced the two up clips by drilling and insert a pin. My radiator is not fixed as original with rubber washers. The radiator moves a little in the mounting brackets
The silicone hose are less rigid and maybe could help to avoid leakage. In my opinion the silicone hose doesn't improve the performance. The resist better at higher temperature.
    Here some advantages

Ok, the drilling and inserting a pin is a common fix with these radiators, it seems that all radiators that I have in stock (except the new one) have this fix done.

Why don't you have some washer and those rubber washers anyways, even though you have fixed the mounting with pins? That should prevent the radiator movement. Too little space?

I checked the speedbrain radiator hose package that I have in stock and there is just a speedbrain sticker on the hose that will probably come loose after the first ride in the dirt

The existing groove for the old clips reduced the free space between the pin and bracket for the drilling and pin system. I have the rubber washers inserted but no more the metal washers to press the rubbers and retain the radiator by the pin. The rubber washers absorb the radiator vibration but is not the best solution for fixing correctly the radiator.
