This likely is not 'new' news to the hardcore riders, but I came across this article that briefly details bike production down in Brazil starting with the F700GS.

India. In a new plant attached to an existing plant building Indian motorcycles. The BMW plant is apparently hermetically sealed to keep out the Indian environment and likely crawling with German quality control inspectors.
