Hi
Hope someone can help or advise. I am looking for a cheap mount for the TomTom Rider 400 for my car. Unfortunately my car tomtom was stolen and I am using my car to go abroad shortly and wish to use my TomTom Rider 400.
I don't wish to purchase the TomTom Branded one as this is quite expensive. I have a suction mobile phone holder but yt TomTom does not fit due to the shape of the unit. I thought about trying to secure with some bands but that would cover the screen which I don't want to do
Appreciate anyone has any suggestions.

You might try looking at Amazon for ideas. They will list several generic GPS holders there and you can read the customer reviews to see what they liked and didn't like about the holders. Then you can either buy while you're there, or look for something similar elsewhere.

Hi, I managed to get one from Halfords for £15. It is a suction one that fits a GPS and a Mobile Phone. Worked well for me on my week away in Ireland

You might wish to find a way to attach a tether to the GPS/phone. Suction cups have varying degrees of success. I tried one that came with my first GPS and it stuck well to the windshield for awhile...then plopped off. You don't want the last view of your GPS or phone to be it bouncing on the road in traffic.

The one I have is actually quite secure. It has a lever which strengthens the suction. I used it for a week with no problem. For the car I previously had a TomTom GO which had it own suction cup which used to fall off the screen regularly. That one did not have a lever
