I'm looking to purchase a Bluetooth Headset so that I can listen to music, use my phone and get instructions from my sat nav.

I don't want to pay the earth for it and it must be easy to fit and use and not stick out a mile on my helmet.

Any of you fine folk have any recommendations together with costs and where bought?

This is not a recommendation to rush out and buy, but SWMBO and I have a pair of Interphone bought about 3 years ago. These are compact and easy to fit, very clear and still going strong on original (built-in) batteries.

The downside and the thing to be aware of when buying new is; apart from the phone and satnav, ours will only bluetooth with other Interphone sets. When I ride out with friends, some have different brand headsets and cannot actually talk unless one of us phones the other !

So, if there was a recommendation in there ^^^ buy an Interphone (or whatever looks good) but while you are spending your money, get one which communicates with other brands too.

Meself and the good lady have Scala Rider2.
Were a bit of a pain with TomTom till I kept loading software updates, now works a dream, BT music, phone (never used that on a bike, only tested.......no-one interrupts my time!) intercom and SatNav voice are seamless in connection.
Again, recommended as it's all I know, I'm aware Scala units will link up with others, but that may be a team-set.

New BT headsets have the capability the link with other brands. Your Interphone headset will too. You may need to download an updated firmware though. It is pretty easy to do.
