Gaerne Boots

I picked up a pair of Gaerne G-NY Aquatech boots today. One of the large motorcycle accessory supermarkets is having a sale.

I can finely retire my old Alpinestars which are still wearable. The Gaernes aren't as tall as the Alpinestars but much lighter. Full grain leather uppers with a mix of new tech synthetics. I've been wearing them around the house to get them worn in. So far very comfortable. A long ride will be the acid test.
