Looks like a Euro 5 motor to me. Really big and not so much horsepower. And add to that combination, a small fuel tank.

The bike is for show at the stop lights and biker bars, not for going anywhere ...which is why the gas tank doesn't need to be bigger. It doesn't even have a rack to put a bag of eggs and milk on, so if you want to make a stop anywhere but the biker bar, you're out of luck. You can't even carry a six pack of your favorite beverage on it. What's with that?

I wonder how many complaints there will be for engine vibration and heat. Those pistons have to be massive. Will it rock back and forth like a Harley? If you need to mix your paint, will it work well to just set the can on the engine somewhere and let the back and forth motion mix the paint?

I can imagine the complaints about heat. Richard, I believe, burned his boots up with his RS and a much smaller engine. And any time you sit on a car engine like that, you've got to expect heat to be there.

Is the engine size compensating for the rider lacking something...?

The soles melted off of my boots while riding my 2000 R1200R at freeway speeds during 90 + degree temperatures. I don't have that problem on my water-cooled RS.

I noticed the video was shot in darkness and the canyons of a city, thus amplifying the sound. Very effective. I want to see a video with the bike all geared up and rolling across the Great Plains, or loaded to the max in the open Rocky Mountains. We might all have different impressions of the machine. I am not sure the heat will be any worse than the RnineT - but then I have never ridden one.

I suppose it looks "cool" if you are into cruisers. I will be surprised is the "open driveshaft" makes it onto the production bikes....even tractors have the PTO shaft shielded in this modern age.

It appears to have the ability to drag the pipes if you corner to aggressively - I think it is a requirement that something has to drag on a cruiser when you lean into a curve.
