In situations when you are forced to ride your motorcycle in winter or simply prefer to do so instead of driving a car, you will find heated gear unbelievably useful. Sure, you can put on a few additional layers under your jacket and riding pants to try and conserve your body heat in cold weather, but this method restricts the rider’s movements thus increasing reaction time, which may have serious consequences on the road.

On the other hand, high-quality, lightweight heated gear made from soft, modern materials, doesn’t restrict rider’s movements. Pieces of heated gear and apparel presented on the digital shelves of our online store are designed to provide additional heating using the electrical power of rechargeable batteries or electrical system of your BMW F800. Battery-powered gear is more versatile and can be used even off the bike. But in this case, the heating time is limited to a few hours (depending on the heating intensity level). Plug-in gear will keep you warm as long as the engine is running.

Master Of The Obvious - you guessed what four first letters of my nickname stand for
Thanks for the reply. What kind of gear do you use?

I've got Gerbing jackets but they are questionable for connections on the sleeves. I've got Widder gloves that I got a long time ago.
Got a BMW vest somewhere in the garage too.
I use a Gerbing double controller when using the jacket and gloves.
The new stuff with the improved micro wiring may be the bee's knees for comfort now.
