An obvious commercial post. One aimed at the wrong audience. Joined yesterday. first post and able to send a link and an image. What's up with that?

Fall detection? Does it really know when the leaves are beginning to turn?

I don't think Safetyfirst is going to get much in the way of an investment in their product out of this crowd.

Out of curiosity I watched their video. It is for a smart bicycle helmet - they did not state what the end product is going to cost.

This isn't the first attempt at getting advance sales/financing on a modern helmet - I am not enough of a gambler to participate in these schemes.

Skully was going to be a spectacular helmet with a heads up display, navigation, communication, etc. They went bust.

I want Shoei and Bose to combine forces and make a helmet with noise cancelling speakers built into the helmet. I have used Bose noise cancelling earbuds in my helmet and they work great and they really cut down on the wind noise - but it is really hard to get the helmet on/off with those earbuds sticking out of my ears!

The issue with building the speakers into the helmet is fitting in the rest of the technology it needs, without compromising on the safety aspect.

Having good passive ear plugs are the best thing for this, much more cost effective and fits any helmet.
