Anyone else underwhelmed by Sierra BMW online?

On August 8th, I placed an order for Tech-spec tank grips and Evoluzione quick-release seat pins for the S1000RR. A week later I go on vacation to Florida, thinking my stuff will be waiting when I get home. I get home, no package. Go to look at my account, it says my order is still pending. Several calls to them get me nothing but voicemail, no matter what department I choose from their menu, even the receptionist. I email them, and several days later finally get a response blaming Tech-spec for not shipping them more grips. In that email, I was told my shipment should be leaving last Friday(8-26). On Friday, I got another email from them saying my order had shipped, but no tracking info was forthcoming. On Monday, I get an email from UPS that says a label was generated, and that was all. I look up the tracking today, and my stuff actually shipped yesterday(Tuesday). It irks me that they said my stuff shipped Friday, when it actually sat in their parts department for 5 additional days. I have tried contacting them again, for an explanation, but no answers have come yet.

Needless to say, This was my first, and last, order from them. I would have just got the stuff from my local dealer, Morton's, but Evoluzione wanted a huge buy-in up front to have Morton's carry their products.

Damn!! You could have WALKED to their shop and picked 'em up in 3(+) weeks it took them to ship. That's some pretty poor customer service to lie to you about the shipping date as well. Please make sure you let the Manager know what happened and how you feel. Most times it helps others who make purchases after yours....sometimes it doesn't.

One month after ordering, I finally got the stuff today. I understand stocking issues...however, it would have been nice to get a heads up on the situation.

I needed a new battery a couple of months ago and the depot was out of stock on the WestCo AGM so I figured I'd try SierraBMW.

It didn't ship until about 4 days after I ordered it. That in itself isn't horrible (definitely sub-optimal, but not horrible), but there was no communication regarding shipment date before or after it shipped. There was also no status change on the order history on their website, so I emailed 2 days after I placed the order to get the status.

It took 10 days to get a reply - which was 4 days after the battery was left on my porch by UPS. D'oh

I ordered from Siera BMW in the middle of MAY they have advised today that it has shipped, it may be another month before I receive it in the UK. Great Service Guys Only 3 MONTHS
