I was born in Hamburg, Germany (now living in Canada) and the licence plates in Germany are City specific.

B=Berlin
HH=Hamburg
and so on.

My hometown soccer team in Hamburg is HSV - Hamburger Sport-Verein

Hence HH_HSV
