We ordered the Guard-It (G-IT) bash plate for our G450X on Monday of this week, and by Friday it was installed on the bike! This item came all the way from England, from Adventure-Spec, and was very reasonably priced for such a nice piece of kit.

Delivery was also very reasonably - very satisfied, we are.

Here's what it looks like on the bike.

It's also very useful because it makes a nice stable platform to sit the bike on, unlike the cheap plastic original one...

Another popular bash plate commonly used down under is the B & B Offroad product and at AUD $169 is extremely good value for money.

Did you try:

Maybe not the same price Bike Biz quoted though... that price looks a little bit too cheap!

I ordered one from my local shop they quoted 1 week for delivery (B&B didnt have one in stock and had to make it). Ordered Wednesday am, delivered Thursday pm!
The BM dealer rang me on Friday to tell me I also received a bunch of extras with the new bike... including a factory alu bash plate!
I decided to put the B&B one on anyway and keep the BM one like new
Very happy with the plate, fitted up straight away.

Not yet... we fitted one on my mates DRZ... nice thing
I suspect there is no way to actually mount it on the G. So there might have to be some reinforcing on the rear... then again, if you're thinking of the rear safari tank... there might not be enough room for one!
