There is water injection into cylinders as well, the big diesel trucks that do the pulls have water injection into the cylinders along with the fuel. Right Tony ?
Once the water is injected into the cylinder it turns to steam and its volume increases waaay more than just air? | |

Didn't some WWII fighter airplanes use water injection in their engines when maximum power was needed, such as when an FW was on their tail with cannons blazing?
